Archival Sighting ID: BN-22-02
- Location: CIC Hut area, Ben Nevis
- Trace Evidence: Cast taken of 9cm footprint
- Temperature: -4°C
The cat seemed unbothered by the cold or the high altitude. It was seen scavenging near the food stores but did not attempt to break in. The sized and depth of the pugmarks suggest a weight of at least 35-40kg, far exceeding any known domestic or wildcat variant.
